The Cactus Flower
Delicate cactus flower,
Your aroma is sweet,
Your color is radiant
You have pranced into the world
And filled us with joy

However thorns surround you
Sharp
Prickly
Spikes
It is your protection
For you are all too delicate
But also your cage
Keeping you
From the world

Oh, little cactus flower,
You are alone
