Inhaling the fumes
of our ancestors' tree-
black misty clouds;
thoughts flowing free.
Prayer and meditation
are practices lost.
Replaced over years
by unholy thoughts.
I walk with a purpose.
I keep a clear head
I come from a generation
with no respect for the dead.
