The Eyes of Peer Pressure
I clutch the heart on my sleeve
and look away from my insecurities
 the voices all around me
 do it, do it
 I know its wrong
 Would I bend my faith
to please the ever judging eyes
of the ones I call my friends?
I clutch the cross around my neck
and look straight into the eyes of peer pressure
 their gleam attracting me
I tear away from their gaze
as I try to cling to my Saviour's side
 then a victory smile
 spreads across my lips
 as the eyes watch me
 walk away.
