His words cling to her mind
Not wanting to let go
Hearing things that aren't kind
Treating her like some circus show
These words hung on her for deer life
Cutting through her heart like a knife
His words tore through like a mad dog
Shredding every part of her
Leaving her in the fog
Without another whisper
Her tears fell like bombs
Bursting as they hit the ground
