Close your eyes,
and what you do despise
Will haunt your mind
with much more evils of its kind.

Running and Running
but it keeps on coming,
You try to hide
Heart beating so fast inside.

Can't take anymore
your legs so sore,
They emerge in front of you
When you have no clue.
Nightmares... They can consume you.

The author's comments:
When I was babysitting this little girl she woke up in tears because she had a nightmare. She said a scary person was following her because earlier she had been watching her father play a video game called Zelda. It made me upset to see her like that and it reminded myself of a nightmare I had when I was younger.
