A Dream

SO close together.
Hand in hand.
So close we could hear
Each other's thoughts.
A sweet, soft
Whisper reached my ear
And spoke "I love you."
My instant reaction
Was a big dorky smile.
Then I sent my message
Back to his ear.
His instant reaction
Was the soft touch
Of his lips to mine.
Soon blackness came
And then I saw
That I was in my room,
Woken up to "Nervous Breakdown."
I sat up,
Realizing a dream
Is all that had occurred.
A tear strolled down my face.
It just felt so real.
