Disembodied
Wipe the tears from your eyes, dear
If you wish to see again
Your vision has to be cleared,
 Sit up slightly straighter, dear
If you want to be believable
There shouldn’t be any signs of uncertainty or unruly fears,
Show them that you’re more than just a body
Although nothing is as they physically appear
No need for them to know that you’ve are already been disembodied,
Give them that sweet smile, dear
One so bright that will make them not notice the chattering of your teeth
No one knows that beneath you snarl like an animal
 Scampering against your cage, incomplete
No need for them to know that you’re emotionally muzzled
 Hungry for almost any attention,
Walk on the preferred straight line, dear
Do not stagger or fall or whine, dear
 You’re trained well enough
 Make the world proud dear
But know that I would love to be in your place dear
It’s the beauty on the outside that matters most
Just let your hand wave hello, dear
And let your soul stay trapped like a wondering ghost
