Favorite Quote:
The dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow.

Warm water rushing down
And around me
Through my tangled hair
Making the knots slide out
Useless dead strands
Fall to the ground

Unwinding steam
Curls upward
From where pools
Of water have collected
Without any rules of containment

Calm can be felt all around
Pounding water
Disguises any other sound

My troubles wash away
Through the grated drain
With soapy water
Used to clean off
The heavy residue of a tough day

This was a simplicity poem I wrote for my creative writing class... I was imagining a warm, calming shower after a stressful day.
