Windows on the Water MAG
They say there are windows on the water,
 Transparent portals to another world.

The seagulls know it. They are standing
 on them.
Awaiting the sunrise and the birth of a
 new day.

The fishermen sense it. They cast their
 nets and
Feel the pull of the line gone taut.

The idle sailor comes about only because
There is a change in wind.

Sea reeds sway in the breeze.

 A couple hand-in-hand walks along
 the shoreline.
Their feet make impressions in the sand.

A ribbon of fading sunlight catches against
 a breaking wave.
An exposed clam quickly buries itself in
 the sand
Just to be washed up again by another wave.

The windows are all around you.
 They are everywhere you turn.

 But only if you listen,
Can you hear its whispered word.
