I'm standing at the station
wondering if this train will be yours
and I wait and wait and wait
but the trains are against me
they want me to despair
thinking that you're gone and always will be
but you know I know better.
Another train stops and opens its doors
passengers file out and in
and then those doors close
and the train zips away
leaving me with a broken heart and a salty tear
on my chin
