Endless Darkness
I'm Standing on the edge,

As I look down below me.

 Endless darkness awaits,

 Beyond this ledge.

 Suddenly I'm falling;

 Faster and faster.

 The wind feels great,

 As it beats against me.

 How can somthing so fun,

 Ever end in disaster?

 But as I think this,

I begin to feel the rain.

 Cold and merciless,

 It stabs through me.

And so, now there is pain.

 As I plunge downward,

 I see the end.

 My brain races,

trying to find a way out,

But as I raise my hands,

I realize, there is nothing left to defend.
