You shouldn’t blame
When you read this note
It wasn’t your fault to begin with.
Sure you’re my best friend
But you also had a life to live
And shouldn’t have to be bothered by my
Petty Problems
After all I can handle myself
Get through this depression on my own
So even as you read this
Though some unreadable
Because of the blood that covers it
You should know that
It wasn’t your fault
That you never wanted to let me vent
That You saw all the sighs when no one else did
Yet still Chose not to do anything.
Besides I’m happy this way
Lying on the floor as a puddle
So you shouldn’t blame your self

Thanks, I'm working on a poerty book on the topic of depression and I wanted to include this one, but I to know what other people think.

Nice work.  As someone who used to feel like that, this is a beautiful portrait of what happens all too often.

Thanks as I said before even though it's kind of sort a lot of work went into this

Thank you. This one also took me a long time just to make sure that everything was worded right, I wanted it to have a powerful impact. And I don't usally do the self pity boyfriend/girlfriend thing, it's not really my style.
