looking in the mirror

Im afraid to look in the mirror now
Afraid of what I might see
I don’t know what will happen
If what I am isnt me
I can’t look into the future
Or dig into my past
The present seems like a lifetime
And if I look at my reflection
there’s only now
No clues of what I have been
Or what I might become
The only thing it shows
I’ll find it to be me
But what if I look
And what I see
Isn’t what I want me to be
