This " I need presents" is only obsessed with our nation

The last time I've looked in a childs face and there wasn't greed for more, I cant remember.
What happened to turkey and dressing and those videos parents show when your dates come to pick you up.
Now it's Walmarts holiday special because two for one Barbies is an amazing deal after all.
I thought Christmas was about Jesus being born.
Maybe I was wrong
I thought Christmas was when we were all saved.
Maybe I was wrong.
I thought it was those cheesy family moments people always write about, but no one ever captures them exactly.
I have it all wrong I guess, because until someone lights a candle in the minds of the young the old the " I dont care as long as it benefits me" nothing will change
And people are forgetting.
