Elise

Tall, smart, witty, gorgeous,
all making up Elise.
With many friends she claims the
top of the food chain.
But sometimes people are not who
one makes them out to be.
Elise's "friends" let her spiral downward, into utter darkness.
With a hand I reach down
to pick her up,
but her body is already cold,
lifeless.
