Right Before Our Eyes
They say expression is the way to find yourself.
How can you do so while trying to be someone else?
The nation’s teen society is not what it seems to be
I’m sure someone being bullied is a sight you have seen.
Everyone is expected to be perfect,
Which, after all the effort, truly is not worth it.
Our teenage years are supposed to define
What, when looking inside ourselves, we find.
Teens should not have to fear what people will say
Or how big bullies will ruin all of their days.
How can the world just sit back,
When the bullying problem is putting kids under attack?
There is bullying no matter where you are,
Weather it’s near or far.
Everyone can do something, so don’t just stand by
For if you do, bullies’ power will grow right before our eyes.
