Our Ways
The year is almost done
Just as soon as it begun

 The days so quick
 they seem like minutes

 How much time we spend
 waiting out our unimportant ways

 We keep attitudes
 we keep greed
 and jealousy

that keep us from so many oppurtunities
the things we could be doing
 when we slam our doors

The things we could be doing
when we're screaming at our parents

 If we did good
as much as we snuck out
 we could cure cancer

 If we did good
as much as we spread gossip, rumors, and lies
 we could end world hunger

What we could do in a year
 in a day
but not if we keep up our indifferent ways
