I stopped smiling long ago. these are just muscle movements under a layer of skin...a conditioned mask, shown in front of others...my smile does not stem from emotion...it is pure physicality...an attribute that is overemphasized...its just...muscle. a robots smile that is artificial and is plastered on my face when appropriate...simply movement.

The author's comments:
wrote this because of a comment someone said to me. A friend of mine said that he can analyze people based on their actions and body language so, I told him to analyze me. What he said was "your smile is not genuine and you are using it as a defense to cover up how you really feel", and I turned to him with complete sincerity and said "your right".
