You, Yellow
Cold, but warm.
 Its only for the moment.
 Red, but white.

Fall is starting and the sweaters
 are coming out.
 Keeping you warm.

 Your hazel eyes,
ring, sing, bring me into them.

 Your words penetrate,
 leave my stomach
 swirling. Then back to yellow.
 White.

 We will be white, yellow.
In the yard, with the lake.
 And have teenage lovers
 talking, hoping,
they can have the same thing.
 Feeling.
