Heartbreak has taken its toll on me,
Depression has got me by my throat.
Blood splatters as your words cut my wrists,
Staining disconsolate notebook pages crimson red.

These wounds will never heal,
These wounds will never heal.

Months have gone by and my heart aches more than ever,
With the deprivation of your touch and embrace.
Now blind and deaf- I can only see your face, I can only hear your voice;
Piercing my intuition, overwhelming my thoughts.

These wounds will never heal,
These wounds will never heal.

With every careless f***** up move you make,
My heart tears open, hanging on by a hopeless thread of pathetic ideas,
As my lungs gasp for the concept of discernment.
My body trembles, lips quiver, as tears descend like razor blades,
Violently rending my flesh apart.

These wounds will never heal,
These wounds will never heal.

You were my reason for living, my only hope.
But it's all over now, within moments we were diminished.
Lacking clarity and a selfless character,
You displease and cause wrath to every human being.

I hope you realize these wounds will never heal;
They'll never heal.
