You know that I play guitar
But do you know that I play a little longer for you?
You know I write poetry
But did you know that you’re my inspiration?
You know that I hate football
But do you know that I go to the games just for you?
You know that I have dreams
But did you know that they include you?
You know how smart you are
But do you know that you’re not smart enough to figure out that I love you?
There’s so much that you don’t know
Sometimes I wish you knew
