Jesus Loves You

Crashing down
On my knees
World around me
Fades to ash

Crying out
Hurting pain
Nothing but emptiness
Pouring into me

No strength
Body weak
Wandering aimlessly
Through this wasteland

Tears flow down
Heart cries out
Soul is seeking
Need Your love

Raise my voice
Sweet melody
Fire burning
Cleansing me

Fill me again
Fill this hole
Gaping wide
Wanting You

Ease this pain
Dry my tears
Create a place
For me to rest

Piece together
These shattered dreams
Heal these
Broken hopes

Lead me to the pasture land
Protection from evil woes
Pick me up from the ground
Let me soar with new wings

Restore my soul
Cleanse the scar
Of brokenness
Fill this emptiness

I need more
Than anything
Watch over me
My faithful King

This poem is so powerful, and so passionate.  I love how strong the character speaks of wanting to be healed and freed <3

You have the power to live another Childhood, so open up the door leaving back your doubts.

The touch of this emotion is very fluid and very strong, and it depicts a story in my mind, from being hurt and weak to the emotional hurt and asking for love to help for someone to heal, honestly a good poem:) Please read and comment on some of my poems:)
