It's as simple as breathing
You and me

Our endless conversations
How I always defended you
Simple as breathing
It has become second nature
Always having you on my mind
Racing through time
Think about us
What we could be

It's as childish as crossing the street to stomp on the crunchiest leaf
You and me

The gossip
And tip toeing around me saying who I like
Childish
But thats what we are
Children
Just a girl
A classic tale
A crush on a best friend
I'm just waiting for my f***ing prince to realize it

But this isn't a Taylor Swift song
I can't write you a love ballad
And this isn't Disney
It's not like the prince from Snow White told his other prince friend about how he banged Cinderella last night

So what does this make me?
A cliche

It's as simple as breathing you and I
I need it too survive
And I really can't believe I put something as corny as that in a poem where I am trying to tell you that I like you

Hi. So. Okay. I like you.
