December 24, 1947
December 24, 1947

It was Christmas Eve in the year 1947
and my Great grandfather was fighting in WW2 He was in his bunker
looking at letters from his kids
 they were drawings of them
opening presents by a Christmas tree

At 9:00 p.m. he and his team
were sitting in a ditch holding candles,
 singing Christmas Carols, and praying

 On Christmas morning he had
received a present from his general

It was an angle Christmas tree ornament

 Dedicated to my Great grandfather.
