"If you are in need of forgetting something, make a note to remember it."

This world is cold, my dark soul broken.
Unaware now of the heart they’ve stolen.
Dead we walk, and dead we be.
Heartless creatures you and me.
Once lost not found, not sought to see;
How dead and broken we would be.
Ignorant, this body and soul
Blindfold’s curse is sought, behold.
Led down to forest’s hidden cave,
Beheaded, destroyed, my heart depraved.
Medals and coins brought forth this fate.
But now we know and now we wait.
Be not fooled by ‘dis curse,
The blind man’s money, the old woman’s purse.
A foot shall be brought upon thy feet,
To trip, to laugh, and ye lick defeat.
Once lost not found, nor sought to see.
How dead and broken we would be.

I was listening to my friend playing piano, it sounded nothing like the mood of this poem. but i felt the need to write it down. and my mind spoke.
