The sound of my tears

the sound of my tears, full of sorrow
maybe the will dry, as i wonder about tomorrow
Unpleasantly tasting as they roll down my face
they fall one by one
I contemplate when will this be done
Trying to stop them from soaking my paper
As I write letter to my mom
Everything around seems to be still
Yet I hear the beat of my drum
Thump...thump...Thump...is what i hear
Crash is what I feel
As little pieces of my heart shatter
One day i know that it will heal
