Are You Happy Now?
How can you tell me you want me to be better than you?
How can you look straight into the face of a child, and tell that lie?
Why is it that I have to grow up quickly because you refuse to do so?
You took away my only chance to survive; are you happy now?
You told me you loved me, and my dreams would come true.
Did that make you think you were doing the right thing?
Providing my head with now unreachable dreams
To my ears you have spoken a lie and my heart torn indifferently
Are you happy now?
Why do you hate me; what did I do?
I went through hell and back for you and this is how you repay me
Well you know what, may God bless you with all of the riches you desire
Unfortunately for you, your riches will run out,
And the beautiful face painted on the world will melt and you will see the ugly truth,
May I ask, “Will you be happy then?”
