Perfect?
We live in a world of imperfection.
Not because nobody wants to be perfect,
 (and therefore it doesn't exist,)
but because everyone wants to be perfect,
 (and therefore nobody is.)
 Perfect
 is always different.
 Just ten fewer pounds.
 Just one shade blonder.
 Just when you think you've
 manipulated
 and changed
 your self enough
 to be The Perfect Girl,
 it changes again
 and off you go,
 trying to fit the ideal.
 Just ten pounds less.
Just a skirt a little shorter,
 so I can be "hot."
 Just perfect now.

 Or not.
