I can tell you
That life isn’t easy
At all
It’s very difficult
And sometimes you’ll fall
There are the clouds
With a silver lining though
It’s hard to see
But sometimes you know
And when the sun shines
Just for you
You’ll know that life
Can’t always be blue
There is darkness
And sadness and pain
But when that ends
Light shines through
Sometimes it’s dim
Sometimes it’s blinding
But either way
It’s refreshing and reminding
That life isn’t all that bad
You see
Sometimes you just need
To wait it out.
