I don’t want the world to end
Only to see it
Brought to its knees
A sword resting upon
It’s dried up heart
The cries of the damned
Echoing through its ears
And spilling from its mouth
Fire raging round and round
Creeping upon the helpless arsonist
The merciless eyes
Of a cold, cold universe
Staring upon
One of many failures

I don’t want the world to end
Only to see it
Brought to its knees
The predator is now the prey
