Blinded
I can't speak the words
 I long to say
 They can't come out
 Without you here
No one knows the world we live in
 No one wants to understand
 Nobody knows me
 Nobody knows how to
 Covet understanding
 I thought you knew
 And you understood
But you turned on your heel
 And left me alone again
 Like the rest
They can't see me for who I am
 And if they do
 They think it's not real
 But I am real
 I'm not a ghost
I thought you could see me
 I was wrong
 Again
 You're part of the herd
 Forgetting those
Who long to see the world
 Only seeing
 The spin
And the events you let slip in
 I see all
 And more through you
 You are my eyes
 But now I'm blind
 No purpose
 No soul
 No reason to live on
 In sorrow
 In tears
 I've given up
 Nothing is left
 You shut my door

“There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt. Doubt separates people. It is a poison that disintegrates friendships and breaks up pleasant relations. It is a thorn that irritates and hurts; it is a sword that kills.” -Buddha
