A butterfly spreads its wings,
An eagle takes flight,
A fish whirls,
Like them,
I must,
I break free.

A monkey leaps,
A dolphin flips high,
A cheetah escapes,
Just let go,
And break free.

I love the way that the animals provide an example so clearly to a human. Its very well written, for freedom is so necessary for us. And yet, despite the sorrow of confinement, the 'caged bird sings...'
