and still see this star that I see,
tonight,
lying on the ground.

You could feel the way I feel,
and see this star that I see,
tonight,
wherever you are.

We could be complete strangers,
polar opposites of one another,
and still see the same star,
in that ocean of a sky.

No matter how far you travel,
how long you run,
or how different we are,
you still might see this star that I see,
tonight, lying on the ground.
