Favorite Quote:
According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four legs, four arms and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them apart, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other half.

The night of summer dreams;
I suppose that I will not be interrupted through the night.
Although I lay here on my soft mattress,
My back feels as if I was lying on the waves of the ocean.
My eyes are closed,
Although I can see the high saturation of the glimmering water.
Perhaps I am not lying upon my own mattress,
But cast across the Pacific.

Another 8th grade english assignment; inspired by the oil painting "Night Dreams" by Mary Capan.
