Belonging to darkness
Lights turned off;shes all alone
In the darkness, in the shadows
 Silently she sits
 Disconnected from the world
In the dark she feels safe
She is invisible like everything else
 Content in her mind
She waits forever'to remain in the place where nothing is all
 A noise
 A step
 A door knob turns
In reaches the hand to offer her change
 The light is switched on
All objects take their true shape
Showing their identity in the light
 The hand slides back down
 Turns the switch off
For in the light she remained unseen
 Sitting alone
 Center stage
 Looking you in the eye
Yet you still dont see her
You look past, seeing those with a figure
 Leaving her alone
 In the darkness yet again
