Imagination in the Sky
In the sky
 Big and white
 It soars high
 Can you guess?
 Kids point at it
 And look at it
 They imagine it as shapes
 And animals
They can feel the fluffy surface
As if being able to touch it
 They fantasize about sleeping
 In its comfy stuffing inside
Comfy stuffing that provides a safe haven
When times are tough in a kid’s life
 That’s right
 It’s a cloud
 When you look up
 Clouds are everywhere
They take you back to a time when you were a kid
 Gazing at the sky
 And seeing a dinosaur
 Or a giraffe
They ignite the kid in all of us
And remind us of a much simpler time
When the worst thing that could happen
 Is your T-Rex cloud
 Breaking into pieces
 And floating away
 So someone else
Can see it as a dragon
