Beauty
Oh water,
Your body surronded by a brick wall
 Submerged with green growth
 Tinted dark brown
And then littered on by pedestrians

Who will ever see your natural beauty?
Maybe when everything's covered in a white blanket?
 But then you are frozen
And you cannot witness the oo's and ahh's

Maybe when you seep out beyond the brick wall
 And flood the luscious grass
But then you will be stepped in and called a puddle
 What a terrible name

 Or maybe
 When your cousins drop by
And create splashes in your body
Who wouldn't love you with a rain colored jacket?

 Whatever happens,
I hope you find your beauty :)

Aw this is a very sweet poem! I loved it. It kind of strikes me as an allegory to human life in a way, because of the finding innner beauty and value etc. Great job!
cheers!
not the prettiest, but it can be if people worked on it
