battle
we were breathing like
 the chocking desert dust
 that they beat on
 just to move on.

 severed green in
 all the slates that
 keep them up on
 just to move on.

 every child in your
 book of creatures book
 of leaves going on
 just to move on.

 your face is haunting
but while im lacking all of every
 do you even look on
 just to move on.

 the pulp is fixing
 your image is pinching
 the clockes that tick on
 just to move on.

 wrinkled bed covers
peeled deep down in her skin
in my own to turn on
 just to move on.

 these words are fragile
but how they seethe with the string
 who would jump on
 just to move on.

 just to smoke all
 just to shoot up
 just to drink down
 just to move on. me.
