Glimpses of a Light
Will you wake me when I'm free
Will you see what I see
Will you know the tormented heart
Will you offer up a new start
Do you know the essence of what free means
Do you feel you understand this human being
Do you experience my cold iron chains
Do you see beyond this conspicuous brain
Can you overcome the lifetime of seclusion
Can you push your mind past this yoke of illusion
Can you remember the dull, stale glimpses of what this soul was
Can you feel my deep pain as no one else does
Will you please see the true confidence in me
And will you wake me when I can be free
