Poetry is expression.
The passion,
The joy,
The hate,
The sadness,
The pain,
The happiness,
And the fear.
Words spill out
And tumble across the page,
Expressing emotion
And feeling.
An escape from the real world,
And all it's troubles.
Happy and joyful,
Or sad and depressing,
Poetry is the minds escape.
