Why is far, so far
And not so near,
Why is far the place with the people I love so dear!
Why does distance fill the space between us with such fear?
Cost and Cars keep us apart...
But nothing can break the things in our hearts!
My eyes may tear,

My heart may fold,
In the nights without you... So cold
My soul may yearn
Because to see you again would make me burn!
With passion and excitement
Upon first sight,
My eyes brighten in your delight,
You brought me tape to mend my broken heart
You didn't even know it, and that's the key part!
My mind, and soul, all illuminated by your smile!
Your eyes that make everything worth wile!
The distance is what kills me now!
So I guess I'll just take a bow, take the backseat for now
Though I don't know how, I will deal with the space, physically between, the space that others can and have seen,
But not that within our heads, minds, hearts and souls,
To see you soon, that is my goal,
We met quite a long time ago,
But seeing you again makes me know,
How I've felt, and how it feels
To know you've seen an angel... Forreal!
Though the distance keeps us apart,
