I cannot sleep–
My spirit highly soars
Upon inspiration’s wings
Through skies of dreams
To distant darkened lands of night–
Then founds with furious fires
Upon many old and ancient grounds
Monoliths and sacred spires
From many ages passed
Of distant darkened memories and dreams.

The author's comments:
Wonder why you can never sleep at night? Or why, even when you seem to sleep well, you still awake fatigued? Perhaps this is why. Read creatively for the metaphor.
