You made me feel this way
Loved, cared for, cherished
But then you changed all of a sudden
Not letting me in
Shutting me out
Saying things you never said before
So what do you want?
I cared for you, protected you
But you pushed me away
I never knew you felt that way
I never figured you did
But I know one thing you helped me realize
You helped me realize my voice
How I look at things
And I thank you
And hope you'll always be happy
