Stars make me smile
If only for a while
because when I see a shoting star
I remember back far
Just laying there
With space to stair
When there was a thing with you and me
something I thought was always meant to be.
I remember sitting on your car
looking at that beautiful star
but things are like that no more
now all that’s left is an open sore.
