People say we were
Split from the same single cell
Or forged by the same creator
That we are all connected
And essentially the same
And yet
Hypocritically
We search for differences
To distinguish us
Identify us
Alienate us
If we search for the differences
We will only find hate
If we search for what we share
We can only find love
And differences won’t matter anymore
