Memories
I sit in school,
 wondering where my life is headed.
 Not knowing what I will do in the future,
 or even now.
 Life is getting harder.
 I wonder if I will have a house when I grow up,
 or if I will live on the streets.
 Then I remember all of the good times I've had,
 when I learned to ride a bike;
 or when I go on vacation.
 Joy fills my mind.
 Then its back to reality,
 where my purpose is to work,
 work for grades,
 work for money;
 and the happiness in my head,
 quickly goes away.
 Until I remember my past once more.
