two days ago we were laughing
today we are crying
why do tragedies happen to me?

i try to smile and get through it
to forget and live and love
but nothing ever works out that way

loosing a sister and then an uncle
and when i thought i had nothing else to loose
my friend leaves too
my tears have become dust
for crying so much
my feelings have become rock
for being so sensative
once i open my heart i cant close it
i must give in to all the things there is to love
and slowly everyday someone new knocks the doors to my heart
and i must let them in
and then when they depart, i just cant let go
surely they are there some where
in the back of my head

i listen to my heart and not my head
and thats why i get through
but im still waiting for that final someone
to knock the doors and have the key
to open the doors to my heart
