Carry me home,
So I might cry there,
Leave me be,
Just like everyone else did,
Shut my door,
And turn out the lights,
I’ll sit here alone,
Like I do every night,
Be not afraid,
Of what I’ve become,
Come to peace with my sadness,
Just like I have done,
I’d share with you my heart,
If I thought you really cared,
But I know you don’t,
So if you need me,
I’ll be here.
