if life was given two choices, to become a writer or a character, I will choose to become a writer.
I have the power to decide what my life should be.

A Tree's Hope

I have lived for hundreds of year,
I have seen the way people lived,
I have heard what they hear,
And I know what they fear.

All my friends have gone,
It is the man doing that I know,
They say the beauty of nature they fond,
And know it is almost gone.

Many years have pass by,
Now the world lacks of clean air,
There will be no oxygen,
Or the green in the future.

I hope I will be standing,
Till the end of time,
Hoping the people acknowledge,
The importance of nature.

They will prevent this,
If not they will die,
Although it might not be sudden,
When it comes,
They will cry.

I write this poem as it was the afternoon in my class. Last year, it is hot in the afternoon. But now, the hotness is just over the limit. This inspired me to write this poem.
