Time-over
The sound of her shoes were close behind
Click, clack, click, clack
Wind blew against my face as I ran
An empty building nearby,
Called me inside
And I opened the door
As it croaked on the hinge.
Luck was on my side tonight,
The lock was on the knob.
I quickly locked the door
And breathed a sigh of relief.
The sound of her shoes were close behind
Click, clack, click, clack
But soon gradually went out of sight.
I leaned against the door
And let out a laugh.
I won the game.
But what can I say
Luck can easily betray
As my head was caught
By a hand through the door.
Now I’m nothing but a pile of ash,
I lost the game.
